Duke is conducting a test today of the various communication tools in its DukeALERT notification system. If this were an actual emergency, this website would provide you with timely information about the situation.

As part of today’s test, we ask you to fill out a brief survey on the DukeALERT website about your experience with the DukeALERT notification system. Your response will help Duke enhance its safety planning.

If you have not already done so, please register to receive emergency text message notifications and download the freeĀ LiveSafe mobile app.

It is important to know what to do in an emergency. For example, if asked to evacuate, you should do the following:
–Leave the building.
–Take personal belongings (keys, purse, cell phone, etc.).
–Assist those with disabilities.
–Convene in designated emergency assembly points.

You can find additional details about what to do in other emergency situations on the DukeALERT website. Thank you for helping Duke evaluate its alert systems.
