The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for hazardous travel conditions until noon on Tuesday. Tonight, low temperatures will be around 7 degrees. Sunday, the high is expected to be near 26 degrees with wind chill values as low as -2 degrees.

In addition, the following campus updates are reported at this time:

  • All Duke Urgent Care Clinics are expected to open at 10 a.m. Sunday, however, this time could change depending on road conditions. Please check this DukeALERT website for updates Sunday. See this page for Private Diagnostic Clinic updates.
  • All West and East campus libraries are closed Saturday and Sunday. Please check the latest Duke University Libraries hours of operation here.
  • All recreation facilities will be closed Sunday.
  • Van Services is not running. Please check real-time campus transit routes here.
  • The Nasher Museum of Art will be closed Sunday.
  • Sarah P. Duke Gardens is closed today and Sunday.

At this time, the severe weather and emergency conditions policy for Duke University and Duke University Health System remains in effect until 7 p.m. Sunday.
