While a winter storm warning remains in effect to 6 p.m. today, additional accumulation of snow and ice is not expected today or tonight. Temperatures are projected to stay below freezing until Sunday morning. Icy conditions on roads, especially secondary roads, remains a concern.

Only the C1 bus is running between East and West campuses. One bus will handle the C1 route today, and riders are encouraged to check TransLoc to track its progress. Because road conditions may still be poor in locations, estimated arrival times may vary. Transit officials estimate 20 to 25 minute intervals between East and West campuses. Duke community members walking on campus to bus stops should follow priority sidewalk routes.

Here are other campus impacts at this time:

  • All campus recreation facilities will be closed Sunday.
  • The Marketplace on East Campus is open and various dining vendors on West are operating today. For updates, please check here.
  • Perkins and Lilly libraries are open. For other library location hours and impacts, please check here.
  • The Nasher Museum of Art is closed all day.
  • Most Duke Stores locations will remain closed today, however, the East Campus Store, The Lobby Shop, and Uncle Harry’s are open.

During the course of this weather event, please continue to check the status of operations for dining, parking, transit and stores on the following website.
